Marie-Louise Norozi

President, Sweden

I am a Protestant Lutheran priest in the Church of Sweden, ordained in 1998. I live in Malmö, in the Scanic part of Sweden and serve as a chaplain at the remand centre in Malmö since 2010. 2025 I was elected to the SC for IPCA Europe and Middle East, but since October 2025 I serve as the Worldwide President of IPCA

I have a background as a military chaplain and have – of course – served many years in congregational ministry. I was deployed to Kosovo 2002-2001 and have since been working as a chaplain within Swedish Defence Forces for a couple of years and with what is now called the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency for a couple of years. I was in the team that was sent to Thailand working with the after maths of the tsunami 2004, among other things.

Both me and my husband are International licensed Personal Trainers and nutritional advisers, so health and strength training are one of many of my interests.

Coordinating Chaplain “Jo” (Joanna) Vandersee, is based in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, and oversees adult prison ministry in the northern half of “The Territory” across two correctional centres comprising about 1,600 men and around 125 women. From a background in mental health, cross-cultural work, and church (parish) ministry, Chaplain Jo rosters volunteers, books groups of various faiths for meetings each week, pastorally cares for inmates one-to-one, provides vital religious advice to management, and supports staff of all levels and designations – corrections, medical, administrative.

An Assistant – Chaplain Dan – who introduced Jo to IPCA – in 2026 has been a good addition to the team, while volunteers from several churches take services each weekend.

Craig Murphy

National Director of Chaplaincy for Bridges of Canada

My name is Craig Murphy. I am the father of four, husband of one, and chaplain to many. Since 1996 I have been roaming around prison chaplaincy circles from the East to the West of Canada and back again.

As a lay Roman Catholic Chaplain, it has been a privilege to engage in the call of prison chaplaincy and more recently serving in the role as National Director of Chaplaincy for Bridges of Canada.

As one who is engaged in supporting chaplains in a multifaith and ecumenical environment, I strive to live out our calling to be present and journey with the other.

I look forward to sharing with you some of the joys and challenges over these past 30 years, in a hopeful way, so that we can all grow together along our paths.
