Support IPCA

Thanks to... Swedish Prison and Probation Service and Correctional Service of Canada our two main supporters, it is possible for IPCA to work and develop.

Canada has a long history of supporting IPCA. IPCA office was in Canada for 10 years and when it moved to Sweden in 2005, Correctional Service of Canada promised to continue with economical support until 2009. Now CSC has also promised to support IPCA IV, the world conference in Stockholm 2010, by supporting some of the preparing work and to give scholarships to participants from developing countries.

Since IPCA came to Sweden 2005, Swedish Prison and Probation Service has been a great support, both economical and personal, and has promised to do so until 2010.

Also other prison services support IPCA by letting regional representatives be part of steering committee work within their work as Chaplain General, and some also by paying travel and accommodation costs for the annual steering committee meeting.

Church of Sweden is another great supporter, by letting the President Birgitta Winberg work for IPCA as the main part of her ministry as a Lutheran priest and Prison Chaplain.

Christian Council of Sweden is also a supporter, who has adopted IPCA into the ecumenical family of churches and denominations in Sweden. The board of Christian Council of Sweden follow and support IPCA wholehearted.

Also other churches in Sweden support IPCA through contributions to the scholarship fund for conference participants from developing countries.
