IPCA Steering Committee was gathered for the 2009 annual meeting in Washington DC, USA.
Many issues where discussed, but also important meetings with people, like Senator Danny Davis, Congressman Sam Brownback and Senator Jim Webb's staff. Jim Webb had hoped be able to meet with IPCA, but had to join another meeting.
Another meeting was with Harley G. Lappin, Director of Federal Bureau of Prisons in the USA.
The steering committee met with a group of church leaders and the executive also met representatives from Prison Fellowship International, PFI.
