PRAISES AND WORSHIP FROM PRISON 25 August we celebrated the Global Day of Prayer for Prison Mininistry. Let us keep on praying during the year. The texts from IPCA Africa can be used for a service, a small group or in your private prayer. If you translate the material to another language, please send a copy to IPCA so it can be published. It is now available in English French Arabic		Ecumenical Center in Bossey It all started, in Bossey, August 1985 The inauguration of IPCA took place from 21 to 25 August in 1985. At a meeting of 59 prison chaplains from 20 countries, organised at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey, Switzerland, the association was founded as a result of a declaration made on 25th August. Read more 25 August 2010, the last day of the conference in Stockholm, we will celebrate IPCA 25 years. Pekka Viirre is now working with some of the historical material. An exposé of the 25 years will be exhibit during the whole conference. Another exhibition during the conference comes from Prison Art. The conferencs logo is one of the entries from the art competition. Reminder - IPCA VI Applications after February 1

After February 1 the prices for attending the conference are as follows:

Shared room: 400 euros

Single room: 500 euros

Application for scholarships is now closed

The last date of application for scholarships is now passed. We have received about 360 applications which are being examined by a committee.

As soon as the committee's work is finished we will provide more information.

Message from the President

Dear friends of IPCA,

First of all I want to thank you for all your encouraging letters and e-mails.

Your messages mean a lot to me but unfortunately it is impossible for me to write a personal reply to everyone.

The applications for scholarships are an all time high and I take this opportunity to ask those of you, who have the ability, to pay the full conference fee. Every contribution to the scholarship fund is of great value.
