Years of work are almost completed - there are still a few things that need to be completed. 320 delegates from 69 countries have been gathered in Stockholm, to learn and to listen, to share and to network. Old friends have met again, and new friendships have been established. It has been a great conference, though with a shadow of sorrow that so many of those who had registered to come, did not get their visa - denied or too late to be able to participate. This is in spite of many contacts with embassies around the world. Sweden is part of the Schengen countries, which seems to have become a wall to protect the borders of the member countries.
Of course a report from the conference, can't replace the experience of having been there. But anyhow, in October you will find speeches from key note speakers and material from workshops at this website.
One way to use it, is to gather with colleague chaplains, read and discuss and talk about how it can be implemented in your local, national or even regional ministry.
Several of the conference participants have asked for a list with name and E-mail address to all participants.
Please send a message if you don't want to be in that list, or if you want to give another E-mail address.
If everything is okay you don't need to do anything. The list will also be provided in October.
